Weekly Recap: 28 Feb — 6 March
This week was filled with exciting events for the Mooning Monkey community! There was no shortage of exciting news and surprises. So, take a peek down below to see this week’s highlights:
Comic Book Sneak Peeks
The Mooning Monkey Comic Book NFT series is an action-packed 4-part graphic novel that follows the Mooning Monkeys as they embark on the greatest space mission of all time and discover the need to evolve for survival.
Earlier this week, 4 drafts, including a black and white, line art, base color, and full in-color page for the first chapter, “Dark Days”, was released.
The community was first shown a B/W draft, which sparked huge engagement about the process. When the reveal was announced on Twitter, the community reacted positively and expressed a desire to see more of the upcoming parts. The responses of the community resulted in the release of the Line Art, Base Color Layer, and, finally, the Full In-Color reveal.
New Roadmap Announcement
Since the project’s conception, the team has worked hard night and day to transform the Mooning Monkey’s entire ecosystem into what it is today — unique, complex, and inclusive of its members. Since then, we’ve integrated third-party platforms, improved features, entered strategic partnerships, and prepared for upcoming developments . And, we owe a huge sum of this to the feedback we received from our community.
As we conclude the first two phases of our roadmap, Mooning Monkey will announce its new roadmap in the next two weeks, which is sure to pique the community’s interest and answer a lot of questions. As well as to provide a roadmap that gives the community clear directions on the project’s next milestones and the teams’ action plans geared towards achieving them.
The new roadmap will outline clear milestones and developments for the coming years, while also creating an inclusive journey from which everyone can benefit.
Since the project’s launch, Mooning Monkey has achieved a number of monumental milestones and events, which represent the true expression of its vision, which is to increase its visibility in the crypto and NFT space while adding value and utility to the project.
Rarity Ranking on Rarity Sniper & Rarity Tools
The rarity of a NFT’s attributes is what make them valuable and determines their placeholder in the collection. And, this is what makes rarity rankings an essential tool for any NFT project.
To ensure utmost transparency in rankings, Mooning Monkey partnered up with Rarity Sniper and Rarity Tools, two of the biggest platforms for rarity rankings. This allowed the community a better way to navigate the value of their NFTs while creating a goal-based list of what they can procure on the NFTs listed in our OpenSea profile.
Giveaway Winners
A huge giveaway was hosted by Mooning Monkey on February 12. The team gave out a total of $5,000 in USDT prizes and 5 NFTs. The winners of the contest were announced on March 1.
