Welcome to another edition of the Mooning Monkey weekly recap! Mooning Monkey had an exciting week full of surprises for NFT fans and appreciation for the artists within these communities. Read on to learn what transpired this week:

Mooning Monkey “Dark Days” 2nd Page Reveal

We gave the community a sneak peek of the first part of the Mooning Monkey Comic Book NFT series last week.

The first round of sneak peeks was well received by the community, particularly comic book fans. So, in order to maintain the momentum, we released a new batch of sneak peeks earlier this week-the second page of Dark Days. The drafts for this batch of sneak peeks included black and white, line art, and a base color layer. While the final in-color version of the second page is set to be revealed on March 14, Monday.

The Mooning Monkey community’s active participation motivates the team to give them a preview of how and why the Mooning Monkey Comic Book could be historic and legendary in the NFT sphere.

Speed Drawing Contest

There is no denying that the artists are at the forefront of NFT. They are the ones who are pushing the limits of what it means to create blockchain-based assets.

Mooning Monkey has always been supportive of the community’s artistic abilities. They all have an equal opportunity to showcase their artistic talents, regardless of whether they have traditional art backgrounds or are deeply embedded in the digital medium.

As a result, the Mooning Monkey team is always looking for ways to showcase these talents. So, we held a speed drawing competition this week.

Those who wish to participate are asked to submit a speed drawing video of Mooning Monkey. There will be three winners, each of whom will receive $100 in $TAK. And on March 15, winners will be announced.

While we hold events to highlight the artistic abilities of the community. We also want to thank the artists who freely share their enthusiasm for the Mooning Monkey projects. That being said, we were grateful for the Mooning Monkey speed drawing shared with us by NFT Overdose, also known as @crypto_promoted on Twitter.

NFT Overdose’s speed drawing can be found here.

Our team is ecstatic whenever we are tagged or mentioned in any form of appreciation for the Mooning Monkey projects. There are still a lot of events that we can’t wait to tell you about! In the meantime, keep an eye out for the next rundown of events!
